The short version: our tracker does not set a single cookie on your hotel's website. This page explains the ones we do use, and where.

On your hotel's website

The reporte.ai tracker sets no cookies at all. It does not read them either.

The visit pixel does use your visitor's local storage, which is technical storage on their device, to avoid counting the same person twice within a session. It holds no name and no identifier that works across other websites, but it is storage on a device, so declare it in your own cookie notice.

Nothing we install on your site is used for advertising or for profiling people across websites.

On this website

  • Session cookie: keeps you logged in. Necessary, and it disappears when the session ends.
  • Consent cookie: remembers the choice you made in the banner, so we do not ask again on every page. Necessary, six months.
  • Preferences: language, light or dark theme, and which hotel you were last looking at, so the panel opens where you left it.
  • Sign-in hint: a cookie whose only value is "1", with no data inside, so the public site knows you already have a session open in the panel and can send you to it instead of showing you the sales page.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no social network pixels, no third-party analytics on this site. We measure our own site with our own product.

Changing your mind

Use the button on this page to reopen the preferences panel and change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it.

You can also delete cookies from your browser settings. If you delete the necessary ones you will simply be asked again, and you will have to log in again.

What your visitors must be told

If you install reporte.ai on your own website, your cookie notice or privacy notice should say that the site uses reporte.ai to measure visits, referrers, device information and booking/search events.

If IP tracking is enabled, your notice should also say that IP addresses may be stored for analytics, bot detection, fraud prevention, exclusions and security. reporte.ai does not use that data for advertising or to follow people across unrelated websites.

For European visitors, local storage and analytics-style measurement may require consent depending on how you configure your site and the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for that configuration on your own website.
