Privacy Policy

This explains what happens to personal data around reporte.ai, both yours and the data your website measures.

Two different roles, and the difference matters

For the data of your own account, we are the controller: we decide what to collect and why.

For everything reporte.ai measures on your hotel's website, you are the controller and we are the processor. We only process it to give you the service, following your instructions. You are the one who has to tell your visitors that you measure, and get their consent where it is needed.

What we collect about you

  • Account: name, email, password stored as a hash, language and preferences.
  • Billing: the details needed to issue an invoice.
  • Support: what you write to us, so we can answer and remember the thread.
  • Use of the panel: pages you open and actions you take, to keep the product working and to fix what breaks.

What we process on your behalf

On your website and your booking engine we record events: pages viewed, referrer, country, device and browser, plus the parameters of each search in the engine, such as check-in and check-out dates, number of nights and number of people, and the bookings the engine confirms with their amount.

We do not collect the names, emails or phone numbers of your guests, and we do not build a profile that follows a person across different websites.

The IP address is used at the moment of the visit to work out the country, apply exclusion rules and protect the service from abuse. If you enable IP tracking, the real IP address can be stored and shown in the panel to authorized users for bot detection, security and troubleshooting.

Why we can do it

  • To provide the service you contracted: performance of the contract.
  • To keep the platform safe, to prevent abuse and to improve the product: our legitimate interest.
  • To send you commercial email you did not ask for: only with your consent, and you can withdraw it in one click.
  • To keep invoices and accounting: a legal obligation.

Who else touches the data

We use as few providers as possible, and they only act on our instructions. The current list is at the end of this page.

We do not use advertising networks, we do not run third-party trackers on this site and we do not sell data to anyone.

Where the data lives

The panel and its database run on a server in Germany, inside the European Union. Event collection and the bookings database run on Cloudflare's network, which is global and whose provider is based in the United States, under the transfer safeguards that provider offers.

How long we keep it

  • Measurement data: as long as your plan allows, up to 365 days, and thirty days after you close the account.
  • Account data: while the account is open.
  • Invoices: for as long as tax law requires.
  • Support emails: while they are useful to answer you, and then they go.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also withdraw a consent you gave, without that affecting what was done before.

Write to the privacy address at the bottom of this page. We answer within a month.

If you think we handled it badly you can complain to the data protection authority of your country. Ours is the Dominican Republic authority under Law 172-13.

Automated decisions

We do not take automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. The panel calculates numbers and suggests actions; the decisions are always yours.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we tell you by email and update the date at the top.

IP tracking, bot detection and your visitors

IP tracking is optional and exists for operational reasons: detecting repeated automated traffic, blocking abusive IPs, applying exclusions, investigating installation problems and protecting the service.

When you enable it for a website, you instruct reporte.ai to store and process visitor IP addresses on your behalf. For visitors in the European Union and in other jurisdictions where an IP address is personal data, you must tell visitors about this processing in your own privacy notice and rely on an appropriate legal basis.

If your site uses a cookie or consent banner for analytics or similar storage, you are responsible for making sure the reporte.ai tracker only runs in the way your notice and consent setup allow.
