Refund Policy
Short, because today there is nothing to refund. Here is exactly why, and what we commit to for the day that changes.

Where billing actually stands
There is no online checkout in reporte.ai. No payment gateway is switched on, we never ask for a card and we store no card data anywhere. Nothing can be charged to you automatically, which is also why this page does not describe a refund process that does not exist yet.
The free trial lasts fourteen days, runs on your own data and asks for no card. When it ends, if you do nothing, the account pauses instead of charging you. That is the whole mechanism.
If you are paying for reporte.ai today, it is under an agreement in writing and by invoice, arranged outside the product. In that case what governs the money is that agreement and this page, in that order.
We would rather publish a short honest page than a long invented one. The day online payment is switched on, this page gets rewritten before the first charge and not after it.
What we commit to
These commitments hold today and will hold when billing starts.
- Nothing is ever charged without a written agreement first. No automatic conversion at the end of a trial, no silent renewal at a different price.
- You can cancel at any time, from your account or by writing to us. It takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for and there is no penalty.
- A billing mistake or a duplicate charge is refunded in full, without an argument and without you having to prove anything beyond showing us the invoice.
- If the service failed on our side for a meaningful stretch of a period you paid for, we refund that part. We will not make you quantify it on your own, because we have the uptime data and you do not.
What we do not refund: a period that has already started and been used while the service worked. If you think that is your case anyway, write to us and say why, because a rule that cannot be discussed is a rule written against the customer.
Trials, plan changes and going over the limit
Yearly billing is charged as ten months instead of twelve. Changing plan, up or down, applies from the next invoice with no penalty, and the traffic volume step moves independently of the plan.
Going over your monthly event allowance never interrupts the service and never deletes anything. We tell you and you move up a step when it suits you, which means there is no surprise charge to ask a refund for.
If you are a consumer
The fourteen day right of withdrawal in European consumer law is for consumers, and reporte.ai is contracted by businesses, so it does not normally apply. The fourteen day trial without a card does the same job earlier and better. If you did contract as a consumer and the law of your country gives you that right, it stands and this page does not take it away.
How to ask
Write to [email protected] with the invoice number and what happened. You do not need a form and you do not need to justify yourself beyond the facts.
We answer within ten working days. If a refund applies, the money goes back by the same route it came in, and we tell you the date it left rather than leaving you watching your account.
Your data if you stop paying
Everything we measured for you is yours. When the account closes we keep it for thirty days so you can come back or export late, and then we delete it. Invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires. If you want it deleted immediately instead, ask and we do it.
When this page changes
The date at the top is edited by hand and says when this text was last reviewed. If we change something that affects you, we tell you by email at least thirty days before it takes effect.
An honest note to close. This is a template written on what the system actually does, reviewed by the people who built it, and it is not legal advice. Before your legal department signs anything, have a lawyer read it. If a clause here does not match how your company works, write to us and we will discuss it instead of pointing at the page.
